What Constitutes a Biography?
Writing to inform- know your audience!
Create interest in the subject by selecting and reporting on information in an engaging way.
Reveal the subject’s feelings by describing actions or using quotes if possible.
Select important events to include and exclude extraneous events and details.
You must document your evidence and cite your sources.
Complete thorough research.

Present information in chronological order (give a sense of time passing between events. Use dates, and be specific!).

Non-Fiction (do not fabricate facts and figures)
Focus on the important facts! Include as much detail as you can to make it interesting but try not to be boring and repetitive.
Stay on topic (keep your person in mind at all times!)
Use sub-headings/ categories
Do not plagiarize! Use your own words and thoughts based upon your research.
